Bring your current craft project (knit, crochet, quilt, whatever), and enjoy time with other creators. All levels and types of crafters are welcome!

Middle School Math Club

Keep those math skills sharp with the library’s middle school math club. This weekly program is for rising 6th-8th graders and will feature math games and practice. Sign-up is required, email Rachel Heller (rachel@sheplibrary.org) for more information.

Explore secular mindfulness and meditation with Kath Meadows of Moving Mountains Yoga. Each session will include guided meditation, mindfulness topics, and time for discussion. All levels welcome. No experience required. This is a free program. For ages 18 and up. Meets in the Library Commons Room.

Code-Breaking for Teens

Shepherdstown Public Library Teen Room

Teens will learn about the Navajo code and the Navajo veterans who developed the unbreakable code in WWII. They will have a chance to decode messages and write their own. Ages 13-18.

Death Cafe: Compassionate Conversation about Death & Dying

Join us on for tea, cake, and compassionate conversation about death and dying. Bring your questions, your stories, your worries. Bring your open hearts and minds. Bring your grief and your hope. There is never a charge for participating.  All are welcome!
